Division of Research and Acdemic Services

Roles 

The Division of Research and Acdemic Servicesis one of the divisions in Faculty of Education that plays a role in articulating its work to the leaders of FED. Apart from that, it also promotes conducting educational research, academic services for the external sectors, producing academic staff and researchers with a sense of needs for protection and promotion of traditional art and culture of the nation particularly ethnic minority groups.

Responsibilities ​

1) Training courses

• Organize pedagogical training;
• Organizeeducational research training;
• Organizeeducational measurement and evaluation training;
• Organizestatistical training in research

2) Research

• Make plans and find research fund for research promotion within the faculty;
• Coordinate with research office of NUOL and related sectors;
• Compile and select research proposal of teachers for financial support;
• Compile the complete research report and organize dissemination research findings of FED teachers; and
• Compile academic portfolios and make proposal for academic titles for FED teachers.

3) Academic services

• Organize pedagogical training (on and off campus);
• Organize training on research methodology, statistics for research and educational measurement and evaluation; and
• Provide academic services in the forms of trainer and consultant.

4) Protection and promotion of traditional art and culture of the nation including adopting gorgeous culture of the world

• Participate in activities related with the promotion of traditional art and culture of the nation;
• Participate in the conservation of traditional art and culture of the nation; and
• Adopt and promote traditional art and culture of the nation including adopting gorgeous culture of the worldin a positive manner.
